The Partnerships and Business Names Law Cap 116 provides the law for partnerships in Cyprus. Partnerships must undergo a registration process with the Registrar of Partnerships. And such must occur with the first calendar month of formation. Required details include name of partnership, registered office, particulars of partners. Other miscellaneous rules on partnerships are that there must be between 2 and 20 members who are individuals – a maximum of 10 for banking institutions. There are various laws which any partnership in Cyprus has to follow. However, the rules differ from one partnership to another.
